Greetings Everyone!
Wow, what a first act Team Canada put on for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic/Paralympic Games! We finished first overall in gold medal wins and became the first host nation since Norway in 1952 to lead the gold medal count, with 14! We broke the record for most gold medals at a single home Winter Olympics, which was 10, set by Norway in 1994 & the US in 2002. We also broke the record for the most golds won at a single Winter Olympics, which was 13. Get ready for the second act which starts March 12th!
For March The Vandoos will be gathering at The Temperance, Marylebone.
The Temperance exudes a welcoming calm from its large, dark wood interior. Wine is prominently featured, with a range that includes a humble Portuguese Santo Isidro de Pegoes and a Red Dot shiraz viognier. For beer lovers there's Greene Kings IPA, Adnams, Leffe and San Miguel on tap. Standard tapas [3 for £10] are available, but most people come for the five strong starter and ten strong main courses.”
I have reserved an area to the right and rear of the bar and shall be there from 18:00 onwards.
